About Krishagni

Back Story

Krishagni was founded in 2009 by Srikanth Adiga. In the early years, we dabbled in building a Clinic Management Software for doctors in India and failed. We also did software services for helping a few universities in USA in developing software for clinical research.

Since 2012, we have single-mindedly focussed on building OpenSpecimen. OpenSpecimen is  our flagship product which is today used in 80+ customers in 20+ countries.

Quality over Speed: One of the key message we keep giving our employees is to slow down. Focus on one thing at a time. It is more important to be correct than be first. 

Less is More: Be it be team size or adding new features to product – doing less but doing it right is more important. 

Focus: We are single-product company with sole focus on making it the best in its industry. Such focus gives us the bandwidth to make the product robust and ensure that our customers are happy.

Continous Learning:  We encourage our employees to continously learn new things that will help upskill and further their career. Towards this, we sponsor training programs, books, and conduct company wide sessions by external consultants.

Fitness: We believe a healthy and fit employee is a happy employee. We sponsor monthly yoga or gym allowances, weekly badminton sessions, sponsor group treks, etc.
