PS Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Summary: 

Coordinates research and administrative activities in support of the institutional biobanking research initiative: Huntsman Cancer Institute-Total Cancer Care and the Oncology Research Information Exchange Network (ORIEN.)

Essential Functions

1. Implements study in multiple clinics at HCI and is an effective team member.
2. Coordinates and performs responsibilities such as patient identification, recruitment, obtaining informed consent, and other patient communications.
3. Maintains information in patient databases and is responsible for data entry.
4. Assists the Program Manager with HCI-Total Cancer Care research related tasks.
5. Works closely with the Biorepository and Molecular Pathology Shared Resource, multiple HCI-Total Cancer Care Working groups, and study PIs.
6. Monitors enrollment goals and helps to optimize the study.
7. Recognizes, tracks and reports adverse events and protocol deviations.
8. Ensures proper collection and processing of specimens.
9. Performs other responsibilities as required.
