The Institute for Precision Medicine is seeking a research technician (research II) to support next-generation precision biobanking including development and optimization of cell culture techniques and live cryopreservation of human tissues. The incumbent will develop ex vivo cancer models of biological systems and participate in model characterization. Training and experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques is required as well as a capacity to quickly learn new laboratory skills. The candidate will be responsible for planning, conducting, and analyzing studies under the guidance of a senior researcher. The candidate must have exemplary attention to detail, strong communication skills and function in a highly collaborative manner.
Baccalaureate – molecular biology or related discipline.Relevant work experience highly desirable.The incumbent must be able to multitask, develop priorities, work in a fast-paced collaborative environment and adapt to changing needs.
